One of the hardest jobs to handle with a Student Pagan group is to decide on what to do for the Sabbats. You may hold a meeting to come up with suggestions for activities to not only involve your group members, but also the campus or community. When the time comes to brainstorm ideas, however, you may be met with utter silence. I'm a talker, so pardon me if you hear my voice when it comes to brainstorming. *grin* The Sabbats are not only times to hold rituals and celebrations, but to be active on your campus. You may be open about your beliefs and want to hold rituals in public, but there are plenty of other options if you want to involve your campus during the entire week. The more educational opportunities you give your fellow students to get to know who you are, the better the public relations the entire Pagan community will have in the future. You can adapt these ideas to suit your needs...remember these are just suggestions and not set-in-stone "required" activities. More than anything, the Sabbats are perfect times to celebrate with your group members and keep your group active. If it feels like your group is breaking apart due to school work, you can hold an activity to bring people back together and remember why your group is there in the first place. Having a student Pagan group is a wonderful opportunity. It's a lot of hard work, but if you keep at it, the rewards are worth it. Yes, the images were taken from the clip art files from Microsoft Publisher...I will be changing them as soon as I take appropriate photos of my own. *grin*
