College Wicca

Rhaevyn's Favorite Links - For lack of a better category, these are some of the links that I personally love. Some may be sources of news, some may be sites I often haunt, and some just may be personal bias...but the important part is that I like them enough to post them on this site!

Prawth.net: This is definitely a bias, but I can't help it...love the man, love his site. This is my dear K'Tok's website, home of Legacy War, and lots of gamer info. There is a lot more going on at Prawth.net (Get Diatribal!) but if you have an interest in console gaming, good sci-fi/fantasy, humor, digital art, and intelligent essays on a variety of topics, be sure to check his site and let him know T'Mitka sent you!

Bkwyrm.Net: Home of the infamous Twinkie Pagan essay. This site has some of the best book reviews I've ever seen! If you want to know about a book, and you want a straight-up opinion (no sugar-coating here!) this is *definitely* the site to see!

HolySmoke.org: This is really a storehouse of information from the HolySmoke echo from Fido.net. It is maintained by a Wiccan, ShyDavid, who also has a link to his wonderful mirror site that gives information about Wicca. However, the point of the website is that HolySmoke is an atheist echo. I've found a lot of great arguments and information about argumentation there, plus it helped me for my class when we debated the Creationism issue. You must have a good sense of humor, because some of the files are rather abrasive to your religious sugar-coating. But they're pretty funny, and you may actually learn something!

Kyklos Apollon: Kyklos Apollon: A prayer circle, convening once weekly, around the world, to worship the God Apollo.

The Onion: I can't help it...I'm easily amused. The Onion is a great satire newspaper. If you've read it before, you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, well, go now and read!

CNN.com: This used to be my start page. Basically, it's one of the best sources of news on-line. I think it's self-explanatory.

The Fish Wars! (Darwin Fish): A quick little site on the "history" of the Fish Wars...you know those little plastic fish that people put on their cars? This site is fun, and has a complete taxonomy of the different fish out there. A fun read, and every so often, new fish are posted.

DiaryLand: Get your own free on-line diary here. Good for people who like journaling, spend a lot of time on-line, and prefer typing to using a pen. Granted, I prefer my fountain pen, but I have to admit I have an account at DiaryLand as well... :)

The ShanMonster Page: Home of Rant and Rage, Omphalos Stepses Belly Dancing Site, Jesus Was Gother than You, and other fun pages. ShanMonster has a great sense of humor, and I love her site so much I spent several nights one week trying to read everything there...

The Purity Test: Who hasn't heard of the Purity Test? Heck, there are so many different Purity Tests out there, but this is by far my favorite. This 500-question test is one of the most thorough...see how pure you are, or AREN'T! (I'm at 45% Pure...how do you measure up? *g*)

TROOPS: I hope you have fast connection and can handle downloading the whole movie in one go. (I can't help it, I'm part geek...) This is a spoof of the tv show COPS and Star Wars. It's taken from the point of view of the Stormtroopers, and finally answers some of those burning questions about the original Star Wars...
