| June 25, 2005--Gone for the weekend again We're heading up to K'Tok's family's house again in a matter of hours for a late "Let's Celebrate Rhaevyn's Birthday" family get-together, so I've posted the Daily Meditation Activities to hold you through Monday. We'll be coming back late Sunday night, but I don't know when or if I will be of the right frame of mind to remember to post when we get in the door. Bed will probably be my destination when we get hom. It usually is. Also, I want to thank those of you who have been purchasing items from Amazon through this website. The kickback isn't huge, but it has been a help during the past few months. Unemployment sucketh mightily, but I'm happy to say I'm in a new job now that I like VERY much (the wait was worth it, AND I'm finally putting my college degree to good use) so there's hope that we can claw our way back out of debt and hopefully even start house-shopping in about a year when our lease comes up again. Finally, happy news of the Pagan persuasion: After college, I was quite group-shy so I've been working solitary since January of 2001. At Litha I dedicated to the Sacred Order of Living Paganism, and I'm very happy to have found an official group. I love the folks there very much, and I feel there's a lot I can learn from them to continue my path. I still dream of becoming official Pagan clergy in the future, and finding them has been such a blessing. See you again on Monday! June 7, 2005--Playing catch-up I should be starting my new job next week, so I finally caught up on all the links that have been submitted, and uploaded them to the site. I apologize for the wait if you've submitted links and wondered why they haven't been posted. I have *NOT* caught up on replying to e-mails yet. The month of May was crazy as all heck between Beltane, travelling for two weekends, and the holiday weekend. Yes, you'd think that a person who's unemployed would be able to sit down and accomplish a lot in her free time, wouldn't you? *wry grin* But I stress too much about where the money will come from to pay the bills...I think I paced a trench into our carpet when I could have been more productive. I know, I know...I take full responsibility for my inaction as well as my actions. In any case, I'm doing my best to get a bit more organized here, at home, and for work. Wish me luck! |
