August 20, 2003--Power surges. You may have noticed that the site was down last Thursday. If it wasn't obvious, my server happens to be in Toronto, which of course got hit with the power outages. I was working all day, and came home without any knowledge of what was going on, even though the increase in number of people coming over from the airport should have been a clue. I was a bit frustrated that I couldn't get my e-mail, then couldn't get to the site. It didn't dawn on me to check the news until K'Tok told me about it around 8:30 pm. At least that question was answered! So if you were trying to get to the site and couldn't, now you know the reason.

I've also discovered that probably the best time for me to write is during my lunch break at work. Of course, I can't find my notebook I like to bring with me when I write, so I guess it's back to cleaning again.

But I have today and tomorrow off...I have some linky dinks to review and add, some e-mail to respond to, and all that good stuff. I will try to get it done shortly, I just wanted to let everyone know what was going on, and that, yes, I am still around. :)

August 7, 2003--Just wanted to let you know... I'm suffering a severe lack of inspiration right now. That makes it difficult to commit to a writing project and follow it through for the site. That is why there haven't been many updates lately.

I'd go to the craft store and get some clay or something to make a little ibis or Thoth statue, but again, the lack of inspiration can be a double-edged sword.

I do, however, want to wish everyone a happy (though late) Lughnasadh!
