September 6, 2003--Is it safe yet? I haven't been on-line as much as usual, which you have probably noticed. For one, I'm hiding from my e-mail. Seems someone opened a virus and has me on their address book or something...at least, that's my assumption. I've checked, and my computer isn't affected, but I've been getting tons of e-mails attempting to spread the thing. 15 more new virus-laden e-mails in the past half hour while I was replying to posts on the forum. Blech! 2 more while I was typing just this paragraph.... They all look like spam, but momma didn't raise no fool...I don't open spam for a reason!

So since the last post (see below) I did read several of your e-mails, and I'm hoping I didn't delete anything important. I have a few new links to post now, and according to Fireblade, Pagans and Wiccans should wear a purple ribbon on Sept. 21-22. I'm assuming this is for Pagan Pride...I've been kind of oblivious lately (work schedule) so please fill me in if you know any details. Since I don't want to accidentally delete anything, posting to the forum would be the best method of getting in contact, plus spreading the word better! Yes, I'm still pimping out the forum....we now have 60 members!

Speaking of pimping...people who love this site buy their books from my Bookstore. *grin*

K'Tok and I are considering going to the Pagan Pride Day event here on the 13th. It all will depend on whether or not I get the day off. If that is the case, I'll report back with what went on.

I'm also kind of ticked off...I *still* can't find my composition notebook that I've been writing my lessons book in. I prefer writing by hand to facilitate the free flow of thought. That, and my fingernails need to be clipped because they make typing a pain. But I can't find the notebook anywhere. I brought it in to work one day to write during lunch, and I know I brought it home because I made the mental point of reminding myself to not leave it at work. I had the next day off and I wanted type up what I had written, so I made sure it was in a bag in my hand when I closed up for the night. So it came home with me, but from there, I can't find it. In addition, it had my printed out notes and outline. Argh! I know I'm going to find it in someplace really stupid once I re-print out my notes....

I hope everyone took some time to look up at the night sky to see Mars. It was a beautiful jewel in the sky, even though it was a bit hazed over due to the high summer humidity here.

Oh, and it's pretty much definite (barring any major disaster) that I'll be taking a week-long cruise in the Caribbean in November! The vacation is very much needed! I won a contest at work, which I think is only the second time I've ever won anything significant...I've learned not to buy raffle tickets or gamble. But I'm so excited about this trip! I plan to come back a relaxed evil tyrant!
